*** NOTE: The reason for this Gate is really only here to make the Triple Gate a triple. I am aware that gaits have no effect on racehorses for the overwhelming part. To quote a friend, "it doesn't matter how 'well' they move. heck, if you've read seabiscuit, he galloped really oddly" and we all know she is right. What I did was since putting just 'gallop' here would look stupid, I took the second half of a normal evaluation [normally the movement] and made it its own gate. This is why the results are randomized and not taken from a picture because it does not really matter.
Wolly is still leading the group but only by two points. This last Gate is the one where I get lazy. That's comforting isin't it? O.o; What happens here is we take the four basic movement [walk, trot, canter, gallop] and randomize them. The numbers go from anywhere from 85-99. I have convinced myself that no show horse moves below an 85 and that no horse had perfectly flawless movement. There are four sets of 1 being randomized on randomizer.org for this Gate so it is just chance if you get a good or bad grade. This seems stupid, but it is very fair for everyone. I would not suggest using this for an evalutation though, let people who are dedicated to the evaluation of movement do it! But hey, its your call. Back to the competition. The points are just like the evaluation points. They are added up then added to the past two gates for the final score.
The scorecards now stand with the following numbers:
Molly- 486
Folly- 487
Dolly- 462
Olly- 451
Wolly- 489
Wolly still has his two point lead, but that might all change.
Molly:
Walk: 92/100
Trot: 88/100
Canter: 93/100
Gallop: 88/100
=361
Molly has 361 points added onto her last score from the evaluation and racing. 486 + 361= 847. Molly's final score for all three Gates is 847.
Folly:
Walk: 89/100
Trot: 94/100
Canter: 93/100
Gallop: 88/100
=364
Dolly:
Walk: 97/100
Trot: 91/100
Canter: 85/100
Gallop: 97/100
=370
Olly:
Walk: 93/100
Trot: 85/100
Canter: 98/100
Gallop: 91/100
=367
Wolly:
Walk: 88/100
Trot: 86/100
Canter: 88/100
Gallop: 85/100
=347
Now we all see what kind of cruel beast the randomizer can be.
Molly- 486 + 361= 847
Folly- 487 + 364= 851
Dolly- 462 + 370= 832
Olly- 451 + 367= 818
Wolly- 489 + 347= 836
As you can see, the randomizer can kill all hope or give it. Folly came up to win while Wolly dropped to third, almost fourth. Al lthree elements of the Gate are extremely important, and four points in anything can make all the difference in the world. The final card is:
Molly- 847- Runner-up
Folly- 851- WINNER
Dolly- 832- 4th
Olly- 818- 5th
Wolly- 836- 3rd
